Ingredients:
1 c. Baking soda
10-20 drops Essential Oil
Directions:
Combine baking soda and essential oil in a bowl and stir well to make sure the oil is distributed evenly. Sprinkle on carpet then use a broom to "grind" it into the carpet. Wait for about a half hour then vacuum.
Tips:
The essential oil isn't a pure oil, so there is no need to worry that it'll stain your carpet. I personally like to use Lavender, but just about any essential oil will work. Try Patchouli for a little spice, or orange for a fresh citrus scent. The scent will only last through a couple of vacuumings, so if you want to keep it up either mix it up every few days or try adding a few more drops of oil to your mix. And remember the bigger the room, the more scent you'll need. :)
